International Master's Program at the Technische Universität München

CSE

Computational Science and Engineering

Computational Science and Engineering (CSE) is the multi-disciplinary field of computer-based modelling and simulation for studying scientific phenomena and engineering designs.

Since winter term 2001/2002, the Technische Universität München (TUM) offers an international master's program dedicated to Computational Science and Engineering. It offers students with a basic education in some discipline from science or engineering a curriculum that provides the basis of a successful professional or academic career in CSE.

Since 2005, the CSE Master's program offers an honours program within the Bavarian Graduate School of Computational Engineering. The BGCE is a consortium of three master's programs: CSE and come.tum at TU München, and Computational Engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. The BGCE honours program is an elite study program within the Elite Network of Bavaria.
